Privacy
No cookies are set by this site. No analytics run on it. The only information Upset Research holds about a visitor is what that visitor typed into the contact form and sent.

One form on this site collects information, the contact form. When you submit it, Upset Research receives the fields you filled in:
Nothing else is requested and nothing else is kept. There is no account to create, no newsletter signup, and no field that is collected quietly alongside the ones you can see.
To answer you. The fields exist because a written scope and a price cannot be produced without knowing which race, which date and which budget. Your submission is stored so that the reply can be written and so that a later message from you can be matched to the earlier one.
It is not used for anything else. It is not sold. It is not shared with another company, another campaign, a data broker, or an advertising network. There is no list it is added to, and no marketing sent on the back of it.
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no session recording. No third party script is loaded to watch what you do here. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service to fetch the font files; that is the only third party request a page on this site makes.
The web server that serves these pages keeps ordinary request logs, which include the requesting IP address, the page requested and the time. Those logs exist to run and secure the server. They are not combined with form submissions and are not used to build a profile of anyone.
A contact form submission is kept while the request is open and for as long as the conversation it started is live. If it goes nowhere, it is deleted. There is no benefit to this firm in holding the details of a race that finished.
Write to hello@upsetresearch.com from the address you used, or name the address you used, and ask. Your submission and the email thread around it are deleted, and you get a reply confirming that it is done. You do not need to give a reason. The same address works for asking what is held about you, or for correcting something you typed wrong.
What is written above is a plain description of practice. Upset Research does not claim compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act or any other statute, because that is a legal conclusion. If you need to know how a specific law applies to your data here, write to the address above and ask a direct question. You will get a direct answer.
Practices can change, for instance if this firm later adds analytics. When they change, this page is updated and the date at the top of it changes with it.
Everything on this page runs through one address: hello@upsetresearch.com
Send the office, the election date and what you have set aside for research. We write back with what we would do, what arrives each month and what it costs.
